EASY ON ME BREAKS STREAMING RECORD WITH 24 MILLION VIEWS IN A WEEK


The 33-year-old's third number one single also clocked up 217,300 chart sales, the highest total in four years.

Adele's new single Easy On Me has reached the top of the UK singles chart and broken streaming records after registering 24 million listens in one week.

The singer beat Ariana Grande's 2019 record of 16.9 million streams in a week for the song 7 Rings.

Adele's single also clocked up 217,300 chart sales, the highest since Ed Sheeran's Shape Of You in January 2017.

Easy on me's weekly digital download sales hit 23,500 - the biggest so far in 2021.

The song's success boosted the popularity of two of Adele's previous releases, When We Were Young and Someone Like You, which re-entered at 25th and 34th place respectively
