FOR TAIYE FAYAN AND KEHINDE ADELEYE, 50TH YEAR IS GOLDEN
It's not everybody that has been given the grace to attain 50 years; some clock the golden age but have no reason to thank God; another set lack the wherewithal to celebrate it. However, none of the reasons listed above became the lot of Mr. Kehinde Adeleye and his twin-sister, Mrs. Taye Fayan. Both of them had every reason and cause to rejoice, thank God as they invite others to join them in the season of celebration on Saturday, the 6th of November, 2021.
The event hall of Mary Queen of Angel's was filled to capacity with friends, family members and well wishers of the celebrant converged wine, dine and dance.
The event had kicked off with a church service at the Ijomimo Oluwa Church. The officiating minister, Evangelist Tope Ajifowowe said the Holywrit supports marking birthday as it affords man opportunity to thank God for His mercy.
The cleric said the twins were special before the Lord as they were enjoying the overflow grace of His love.
"Taiwo and Kehinde cannot but succeed because they are children of God. They were born into the christian home of one of the generals of God in Akure of those days, Prophet Gabriel Adeleye. Their father served Jesus Christ with everything he had. He founded this Church, established a Secondary School, Ijo Mimo Secondary School and used his time to preach the word of God undiluted. I am sure God is paying his children back for the good work he did."
Evangelist Ajifowowe charged parents to be good ambassadors of Christ by ensuring that their children are brought up in the way of the Lord.
Thereafter, the duo led their guests to Mary Queen of Angels Events Hall where dancing, drinking and eating took place. The hosts with their spouses displayed their dancing skills to the music emanating from grant loudspeakers placed at strategic places in the hall. Top serving and retired public servants, administrators and professional colleagues of the twins, joined their family members and friends to make the day eventful
Speaking with journalists, Mr. Adeleye, who is a deputy director in the State Ministry of Information, described the day as a landmark.
"We are so grateful to God and delighted to attain the golden age. It's an achievement we cannot but mark. God has been benevolent and merciful to us. The journey has been full of ups and downs but thanks to God, we have surmounted every obstacle"
