ONDO GOVT. EXPRESSES SATISFACTION WITH TURNOUT AND CONDUCT OF 2023 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO UNITY SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
The Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olufemi Agagu FNIVS, has expressed satisfaction with the turnout of pupils for the Entrance Examination into Unity Secondary Schools across the state.
The Commissioner while monitoring the examination at designated centres in Akure, said he was also impressed by the peaceful conduct of the candidates and their supervisors.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Folasade Adegoke, the Commissioner lauded the Department of Examination Management in the ministry for putting in place adequate logistics for the smooth conduct of the examination.
Mr Agagu was particularly impressed by the increase in enrolment which he said was a significant improvement over previous years.
He explained that the question papers for the examination, the names of the students, and seat numbers, were all customized to make sharp practices almost impossible.
Over fifteen thousand pupils sat for the entrance Examination into the five State owned Unity Secondary Schools at designated centres across the state.
The examination was held simultaneously across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, and the result is expected to be released within a fortnight.
