APOSTOLIC FAITH CHURCH MARKS 60TH ANNIVERSARY URGES NIGERIANS TO PŔAY FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU

   Apostolic Faith Church, Ondo/Ekiti District celebrates 60th Anniversary, urges Nigerians to be prayerfully patient with Tinubu's administration


The Regional Overseer of The Apostolic Faith Church, Ondo and Ekiti District, Reverend Akinwumi Ajayi has declared that Nigerians must be prayerfully patient with the new reforms being carried out by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.



Rev. Ajayi said at the beginning of such reforms, things might seem tough, but if Nigerians remain prayerful and patient with the administration, the reforms would be in favour of the masses and Nigerians would smile at the end.


The Cleric stated this in Akure, the Ondo State Capital, during a visit to the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council, to hint members of the union on the 60th Anniversary of Apostolic Faith Church in Ondo and Ekiti states.


He said there are reforms that are necessary for the country to made the desired progress as long as they are not anti-people, and called on Nigerians to intensify prayers for the country and it's leadership.


"We have prayed for the country and its leadership, we will not cease, we continue to pray  for the country and our leaders, while we continue in winning souls for Christ"


Reverend Ajayi also noted that corruption remains one of the monsters hindering the development of the country and called on Nigerians, especially those in leadership positions to have the fest of God and shun all corruption tendencies.


The District Overseer noted that Apostolic Faith Church in Ondo and Ekiti states has made tremendous exploits in winning souls for Christ and giving hope to many homes in the last 60 years through through undiluted words of God and hope in Jesus Christ.


Speaking on the 60th anniversary of the church, Rev. Ajayi urged the people of both Ondo and Ekiti states to join in the celebrate,  saying the Apostolic Church is a trinitarian church, totally dedicated to the service of God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit.


“The church peaches the entire bible and the doctrine of salvation, the need for everyone to be born again and be transformed. Whatever we do in the Church, the central theme is salvation. We thank God that we are making it through thick and thin"


Also speaking on the 60th anniversary, the Ondo State District Overseer of the Apostolic Faith Church, Reverend Joseph Aro said the event will come up next Saturday 8th of July, 2023 at Apostolic Faith Church headquarters, opposite Saint Michael Catholic Secondary School, off Ijoka Road, Akure.


He added that Thanksgiving and Music Concert will follow on the 9th of July 2023 while there will be a Revival between 10th and 14th July, 2023 at the same venue.
