Five business outfits including filling stations, a guest house and an event centre in Akure North and South local government areas have incurred the wrath of the law over failure to pay Land Use Charge. The five business concerns all located in Akure North and South local governments were shut down on Monday and put under lock and key. The action was effected by the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service enforcement team following a court order. The affected outlets include, Segadot filling station, Oba Ile, owing two hundred thousand (200,000), Jofason Nig Ltd, Ado road, owing two hundred and fifty thousand (250, 000) and Tunabi Oil and gas, Ado road, owing One hundred and twenty thousand (120, 000).
