Shekarau’s faction had elected Alhaji Haruna Ahmadu Danzago as its chairman while Ganduje’s camp elected Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas in the parallel congress which held on October 16. The judge held that Nigeria’s constitution is supreme and any law that is inconsistent with it shall be null and void. The judge declared that the former emir had the right to live anywhere, including Kano State, as enshrined in the country’s constitution.   Ailing actor, Clem Ohameze weeps profusely as he receives N8m from popular prophet Popular Nollywood Thespian, Clem O Popular Nollywood Thespian, Clem Ohameze was on Sunday left in uncontrollable tears as he was gifted the sum of N8 million from prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. The money  was meant to sort the medical bills of the popular actor, who has been down with an undisclosed illness. Ohameze has been confined to a sick bed for almost two years after he was involved in an auto accident. Akintonde, a resident of El Cajon was sentenced in a federal court on 24 November, 2021. According to the US Attorney General’s Office, Akintonde previously admitted that he sent messages to S.J.G. through social media on February 28, 2019, to coordinate a sale of what the victim believed to be oxycodone pills. Later that evening, Akintonde delivered two counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl to S.J.G. After the meeting, Akintonde sent additional messages to S.J.G. through social media warning that he should only take one of the pills because they were “strong.” He further admitted that the pills he gave to S.J.G. caused his death.   Jailbreaks: How 371 Suspected Kidnappers Escaped From Nigerian Prisons In Six Months In an attack on a correctional centre in Imo State on April 5, 2021, 1,884 inmates escaped, 267 were kidnappers awaiting trial. No fewer than 371 out of the total 1,641 suspected kidnappers in Nigerian correctional centres have escaped within six months. According to Daily Trust, the 371 kidnappers escaped from two correctional facilities in Imo and Oyo states between March and October this year. On October 23, 2021, gunmen invaded a correctional centre in Oyo and set free 837 inmates, out of which 104 were suspected kidnappers. Although the Nigerian Correctional Service said it had recaptured 262, it is not clear whether any of the kidnappers was recaptured. Also, in an attack on a correctional centre in Imo State on April 5, 2021, 1,884 inmates escaped, 267 were kidnappers awaiting trial. An army takeover on Oct. 25 halted a power sharing deal between the military and civilians from the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) alliance, and a number of ministers and top civilian officials were detained. Also released on Saturday were former Khartoum State governor Ayman Nimir and anti-corruption taskforce member Maher Abouljokh. Several high profile politicians remain in custody. Yousif and others had began the hunger strike, according to the Sudanese Congress Party, to protest their continued detention despite the signing of a deal between military leaders and civilian Prime Minister Abdalla
