I understand the event was a solemn atmosphere attended by a few of his numerous beneficiaries of his exemplary leadership. It could not have been better attended given the treatment meted to the deceased in the last few years. The late Engineer Otegbeye was not known to me personally; we had no interaction, communication or dialogue of any kind, direct or indirect.   How Miss USA 2019, committed suicide from her New York apartment Cheslie Kryst , who won the Miss USA crown in 2019, is dead after a Sunday morning fall from her high-rise home in New York City multiple media reports has confirmed. Just a few hours before she died, Cheslie posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace.” Kryst took home the top honors at the Miss USA pageant back in 2019 as Miss North Carolina. She was an attorney, and after winning the title, she also worked as a correspondent for Extra. Police are investigating, but they believe Cheslie who lived on the 9th floor jumped from high up in the building.   Nigerians spend $35,000 to register business in Egypt — FG The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has decried the 35,000 U.S. dollars (about N19.2 million) deposit being requested by Egyptian Authority from foreigners including Nigerians to operate a business enterprise in that country. Mohammed described the condition as unacceptable during a meeting with the Nigerian community in Cairo. The meeting was on the sideline of a bilateral discussion with Africa Export Import Bank (Afreximbank) on how Nigeria can access funding to support its growing creative industry. Alhaji Mohammed had led some private sector stakeholders involved in Digital Switch Over (DSO) to Afreximbank to assist them on how they can source fund to complete the wholly private sector financially driven project.   Obaseki okays health insurance for journalists in Edo EDO State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has directed the management of the State Health Insurance Scheme to commence the registration of all journalists in the state. The governor also stated that the policy covered primary and secondary health care. Obaseki said, “Registered journalists under the scheme would be eligible to access health care at both public and private hospitals in the state. “A card would be issued to an individual journalist at the point of registration. This card also covers for a specified number of members of the journalist’s family,” he added.
