The Super Eagles of Nigeria this afternoon avenged their shocking first leg 1-0 loss to Central African Republic with a 2-0 victory.

The Nigerians overpowered their hosts with superior display of skills which pegged the opponents to their own half of the field.

Unlike the first leg when the haughty Nigerians frittered away opportunities to score, Leon Balogun opened scoring twenty nine minutes into the first half.

Napoli Star, Victor Osimhen fired in the second goal at tailend of the first half. The goal happened to be last of the encounter.

The second half did not produce any goal.

With the victory, Nigeria's chances of featuring in Qatar 2022 is almost assured, as the Super Eagles lead their group with nine points from four games.
