It has been a harvest of MEDALS for Ondo State representarives since Friday when the 6th National Youth Games started in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The medals acquisitions began as the athletes recorded their first 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals at the on-going 6th National Youth Games, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The 2 Gold medals which came from Judo were clinched by Odunayo Babalola (44kg) and Uche Asonye (36kg) while a gold, a silver and 1 bronze in Artistic Gymnastics were won by Tumininu Braitwaite. Also, a silver medal was won by Tolu Braitwaite and a bronze from lucky Moses as well as a silver in team event.
Tumininu Braitwaite was went away with a silver in all round best at this year 6th National Youth Games in Gymnastics.
On Saturday, Victoria Samuel won Gold medal in Para- Kayak
Patient Nigeria 100 metres freestyle Girls in a time of 29.93 seconds. Oriade Ogunyemi got bronze in 50 metres Butterfly - Boys
50metres Girls Freestyle Bronze medal Patient Nigeria
Boys Awala came third in 50 metres Backstroke Boys thereby winning bronze
Ondo won another bronze in Mixed 4X50metres Medley Relay Boys and Girl Bronze*
Ogunyemi Oriade 100 Metres also clinched bronze in Butterfly
