Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia, has bagged four nominations in the Hollywood and African Prestigious awards, and an invitation to the United States for the event.

The excited mother-of-one took to her verified Instagram handle to announce her nominations, sharing screenshots of her invite.

She captioned her post, ” I have just received multiple award nominations and invitation to Los Angeles CA USA.

Thank God my visa will not waste this year. But that is not the point! OMG! I am so overwhelmed with joy.

For the first time, I don’t know what to say as words cannot express my joy.

In every movie project I give my all and I am so rewarded by the fact that these efforts do not go unseen.

The first award I get from a project is the reaction, joy and satisfaction of my viewers. I appreciate my viewers so much.

Everyone who has said “I love your movies” trust me you have given me an award.

And now, a highly esteemed international body like HAPA Awards saw my work amongst many others across the world and decided that mine was worthy of the honour!!!

I am humbled and truly grateful. I hope to win and dedicate these awards to my loving father of blessed memory who I am sure is smiling down at me, watching over me.

Write my acceptance speech and book my flight already!

The actress lost her father two weeks ago and had vowed not to procreate again.

Since then, a retired military general has been acting in Fubara’s place. Speaking at a book launch in Abuja on Thursday, Shettima referenced his experience as former governor of Borno State to warn against presidential overreach. He recalled how former President Goodluck Jonathan once considered removing him, only to be advised against it by then-Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and Attorney-General Mohammed Adoke. “You do not have the power to remove a sitting governor,” Shettima quote...
