Popular Nigerian comedienne, Helen Paul, has added another line of business to her string of businesses as she has launched two boutiques in Georgia, America.

Asides from being an entertainer, the humour merchant is also an On-Air Personality and a tutor to intending entertainers in the country.

Already well established as an entrepreneur in Nigeria before advancing her business in the United States of America, the humour merchant made her new venture known via her Instagram account as she posted several pictures of beautiful African wears, handbags, accessories, hats, interior decor materials and several other assorted items in the boutique.

It was also gathered that the multi-talented entertainer and academician who is a PhD holder at the University of Lagos, lectures on an ad hoc basis in the United States.

Helen Paul noted that she was inspired to open the boutique because she has a passion for promoting the Nigerian culture.

She said, “In most of the things I do in life, I always have it at the back of my mind to promote the Nigerian and African culture. Even with my comedy, I ensure that I project Nigeria in a good light. Moreso, we are in a digital age where people are much interested in cultural exchange.

“With this in mind, I believe that I can further push Nigeria as a brand, sensitise people about our great nation and, with my outfits, ‘preach the gospel of Nigeria’.

“Also, the idea to open the stores came to me when I realised that anytime I wear Nigerian attires, people in the US are always dazzled and interested in getting a replica of my outfit. With this in mind, I decided to open the stores.

But mostly and vexatiously, position blinds us as we use it to cheat and deny others their rights. Certain men understand that position is an opportunity to etch their names in gold and put such in the same of time.   It is exactly fifty years today that the 42nd Deji of Akure, late Oba Agunsoyebioyinbo Ademuagun Adesida 11 joined his ancestors. That fateful day was Sunday and in the evening; darkness was just enveloping the city. It was the strange shouts of "opo ye o, opo ye o, opo ye o", that prompted me to rush out of our house at Oke aro. I saw people running helter, skelter. I did not bother about them.
