Veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko is dead. 

Her death was confirmed Wednesday night by her daughter Bisi Aisha, who is a female soldier.

Bisi made her mum's death public through several instagram posts 

Some of her posts read: 

 my mum is gone, Rest on mum, may your soul rest in peace, mummy

Another actress, Foluke Daramola also confirmed Iyabo Oko's death.

The late vereran actress had a running battle with ill health, having been diagnosed with diagnosed with ischaemic stroke five years ago.

She was rumoured dead last September but she surfaced to deny it

Iyabo Oko was born on the 15th of November 1960 in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State.
