Protesting TV journalist found, appears in Moscow court.
Marina Ovsyannikova, the Russian journalist who was feared missing after protesting midway into a prime-time news broadcast on the most-watched state-owned Channel One TV late Monday, has now been found.
Russian newspaper, Novaya Gazeta, reports that Ovsyannikova is now in a Moscow court and is set to be charged with organising an unauthorised protest.
Ovsyannikova was arrested and detained in an unknown location, sparking fears about her whereabouts.
i News reports that the journalist appeared in Ostankinsky regional court on Tuesday, with human rights lawyer Anton Gashinsky.
A photo of her was shared on the Telegram channel of one of her lawyers, Sergei Badamshin
